When it comes to choosing a rug, you want to make sure that it not only looks good, but is durable. Because rugs are usually used in high traffic areas, they need to be able to withstand the natural wear and tear as well as be able to either hide stains and dirt well, or repel them easily. In the last blog post, The Scoop on Indoor Air Quality, you discovered that wool rugs are sustainable and better for your indoor air quality. The initial cost for wool rugs is greater than synthetics, but is a long-term investment in your health. As you get into larger sizes, rugs can get pricey, often costing thousands of dollar, or even tens of thousands. So today, I’ve rounded-up several affordable rugs that don’t skimp on style and provide the durability you need in your home with options to fit any style and in many different sizes.
